Wisconsin (LaCrosse Tribune) -An intoxicated man ran afoul of the law Saturday morning when he wandered into the wrong house.
A resident in the 800 block of South Sixth Street heard someone come through the door and walked out to find a stranger sitting on his couch, according to the police report. He called police about 3:45 a.m., saying the man was being belligerent and refused to leave.
According to the compliant, when the officer arrived and asked for identification, Todd Alesch reached in his pocket and pulled out his drivers license and a bag of marijuana.
Asked if he knew what state he was in or what month and year, Alesch, of 1803 Ferry St., answered only La Crosse.
Alesch, 26, was taken to a hospital with a blood-alcohol level of 0.32 percent and faces charges of disorderly conduct and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia.
