South Carolina (AP/The State.com) – Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies have charged a man with robbery in a botched holdup at a local Waffle House that left another suspect dead.
This guy always nails it, when he comments on stories like these. I gotta meet this guy!
Lt. Tony Ivey says 29-year-old Kenneth Jowan Craig was arrested late Saturday night and charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Investigators say Craig and 19-year-old Dante Lamont Williams tried to rob the restaurant early Saturday morning. A customer with a concealed weapons permit drew his gun and told the men to wait for sheriff’s deputies to arrive.
Ivey says Williams pointed his gun at the customer, who shot and killed him. Craig is currently being held at the Spartanburg County jail. Bond had not been set by Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t immediately clear if he has a lawyer.
This is just one of the many reasons why our founding fathers decided to arm the people; because if you’re unarmed, you’re prey to assholes like these. You can’t always count on the police, folks; when seconds count, the police are just minutes away.
According to the video above, Williams was killed on his birthday. Hope it was worth it, guy. Let this be a lesson to you idiots out there, who think you can get away with something like this; the next person you try to rob might just be better with the iron, than you are!
19-years-old, this guy. 19-years-old, with his whole life ahead of him. This is why you have to bring your kids up right, America. By 29, Craig was already a lost cause, but Williams was only 19. That’s not too far out of the nest, providing he had even left the nest, that is. If you want to play with guns, then join the Army, kids!
