Washington D.C. (The Gaslamp Post) – House republicans are striking back after the announcement of ObamaCare law being upheld by the Supreme Court, this morning.  Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va), House Majority Leader, announced that the House of Representatives will vote to repeal the healthcare law upon their return from recess on the week of July 9, 2012.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.)

“The Supreme Court’s decision to uphold ObamaCare is a crushing blow to patients throughout the country,” said Rep. Cantor. “ObamaCare has failed to keep the President’s basic promise of allowing those who like their health care to keep it, while increasing costs and reducing access to quality care for patients.”

Rep. Cantor who is responsible for setting the House’s floor schedule, said that the vote to repeal will create the path for “patient-centered reforms that lower costs and increase choice,” according to Politico.
