Woman Arrested After Trying To Break Into Jail?

Ohio (The Gaslamp Post) – “This is the first time anyone has tried to get into the jail by trespassing,” said a spokesman for the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested: Tiffany R. Hurd

A corrections officer at the Butler County Jail observed a woman attempting to climb a barbed wire fence late last month, from the outside.  After numerous attempts to get the woman to leave, she was taken into custody and booked.

36-year-old Tiffany R. Hurd, left, was arrested and charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct after trying to scale the exterior perimeter, barbed wire fence.  She was reportedly screaming “I want to be arrested.”

Officers suspected that she was intoxicated.

Sheriff Rick Jones mentioned the incident on his Twitter account Sunday, tweeting: “Prisoner arrested trying (t0) get back (into) jail. … She got her wish. Not the norm. Got it backwards.”
