New Jersey (The Gaslamp Post) – A little boy was killed trying to protect his big sister from a drug crazed rapist who had broken into their home this past Sunday morning. The suspect, a 31-year-old man, was known to play with neighborhood children according to Cherry Hill Courier-Post.
The atrocity occurred at around 2:00 am, this past Sunday when a man, Osvaldo Rivera, who was high on “wet” (PCP laced marijuana) broke into a Camden home and began raping a 12-year-old girl. The girl’s little brother, 6-year-old Dominick Andujar, awoke and immediately ran to his sister’s aid.
His sister’s attacker slashed the young child’s throat and left him to die as he continued to violently ravage the girl. She was able to escape after the attack and ran to get help for her brother by banging on neighbor’s doors. Two other girls, ages 9 and 14 were also asleep in the home but were unhurt.
The trail of a child’s bloody hand prints on doors found nearby was a graphic indicator of the sheer horror of what had happened.
According to police, a 9-year-old girl ran from the home screaming that her brother needed help. Officers found the little boy’s body inside, on the floor.
The 12-year-old victim was located by police at the home of a nearby neighbor.
Her attacker was located in an east Camden apartment and arrested later that day. Police said that they recovered his bloody shoes and tee shirt as evidence. After the attack, Rivera reportedly asked SWAT officers, “how bad did I hurt them?”
The girl who was also critically injured in the attack was able to tell police that her attacker was named “poppy”. Rivera’s street name was known by police to be “popeye”.
