The Planet, The Climate, God, And What President Obama ISN’T Saying…

Posted on January 22, 2013

Washington D.C. (The Gaslamp Post) – If there’s one thing to know about libero-progressives, it’s that when they say up, look down – if they say black, they mean white.  That understanding is absolutely key in deciphering and thereby realizing what their true agenda is.

Yesterday during his inauguration speech, President Obama laid out what his goals are for the future of his administration.  While many of the things he said should come as a surprise to no one, one thing he said made many sit up and take notice.

While asserting his belief in man-made climate change (keep in mind that they need that term since man-made global warming doesn’t work anymore), the president declared that his agenda to weaken us energy-wise, was his mission more-or-less, from God.  In his speech, the president said the following:

We, the people, still believe that our obligations as Americans are not just to ourselves, but to all posterity. We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations.

Some may still deny the overwhelming judgment of science, but none can avoid the devastating impact of raging fires, and crippling drought, and more powerful storms. The path towards sustainable energy sources will be long and sometimes difficult.

But America cannot resist this transition; we must lead it. We cannot cede to other nations the technology that will power new jobs and new industries — we must claim its promise.

That is how we will maintain our economic vitality and our national treasure — our forests and waterways; our croplands and snowcapped peaks. That is how we will preserve our planet, commanded to our care by God.

That’s what will lend meaning to the creed our fathers once declared.

God commanded us to preserve our planet?  Really?  Where is that written exactly?  I’ve read the Old Testament and I can’t seem to find that anywhere.  The closest thing I’m aware of is:

15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;

Genesis 2:15-16

That’s not to say that we shouldn’t try to take care of what we’ve been given, being good stewards of the gifts with which we have been given only glorify and show our gratitude to our Creator.  I think the president may have been embellishing a wee bit.

Here’s some scripture that did come to mind during the president’s speech; 2nd Peter, chapter 2.

1But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.

Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

2Peter 2:1-3

“We will respond to the threat of climate change” said the president.  “Some may still deny the overwhelming judgement of science,” he said.

While it’s unpopular amongst the he-who-screams-first-and-loudest-wins-the-argument crowd, to point out that the sun’s activity has more influence on our weather than we do, sometimes it’s a good idea to add some facts to the debate before things get too far out of hand.  Their usual come back is muttering something to the effect of “weather is different from climate.”

Then they’ll tell you about bogus data compiled by Al Gore for some stupid movie that had to do with rising CO2 amounts in our atmosphere, and that’s why we’re getting warmer.  Nevermind the planet Mars’ atmosphere is mostly CO2 and it’s freezing there.

How soon we forget that about the hacked email scandal just a few short years ago, where the emails from the Institute for Climate Change were published, which caught them red-handed, admitting that the data that they had collected wasn’t matching their models.  When that happened, they had to fabricate some findings in order to make it all fit the agenda.

WHAT SCIENCE???  That’s not science, that’s called PROPAGANDA!

That is exactly what we are being warned of:  false teachers who introduce destructive heresies!

2nd Peter 2 continues:

10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority.  Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings;

11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them fromthe Lord.

12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.

2Peter 2:10-12

Now remember that I said when they say up look down; there are some things that the president decided not to mention.  While we’re on the subject of God wanting us to dump more money into supposedly taking care of the planet we’ve been given, somehow we forgot to tell the American people that he’s selling American energy-rich real estate to some of the planet’s WORST polluters.

China: Industrial waste winding up in waterway

What the tree-huggers fail to realize about all of those “green energy” feel good contraptions that we dump money on; they’re not only made in China, but leave behind an awful lot of toxic by-products which they just dump into the air and water.  Maybe that doesn’t matter if we don’t actually have to see it, right?

Chinese factory dumping bilge into the air.

Just keep hugging those trees kids…

In a plan to continue U.S. borrowing from China, it has recently been revealed that the Obama administration has been allowing China to buy up energy rich land and infrastructure here in the continental United States, in exchange for no-interest borrowing from them.

According to Jerome R. Corsi:

The Obama administration, under the plan, would grant a financial guarantee as an inducement for China to convert U.S. debt into Chinese direct equity investment. China would take ownership of successful U.S. corporations, potentially profitable infrastructure projects and high-value U.S. real estate.

The plan would be designed to induce China to resume lending to the U.S. on a nearly zero-interest basis.

However, converting Chinese debt to equity investments in the United States could easily add another $1 trillion to outstanding Obama administration guarantees issued in the current economic crisis.

So, now while on one hand the president is saying that we have to be responsible and ensure prosperity for our future generations, he his selling our prosperity’s birthrights to a nation who could one day be our enemy on the other.  All of it in the name of keeping the spending on entitlements going.

Enjoying your Obama-phone?  Enjoying your 99 weeks of unemployment, free healthcare, and food stamps?  Guess what, you’re doing it by whoring yourself out to your enemies!

You are gladly taking scraps worth pennies in exchange for communists selling your country out from under you for trillions!  There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Hear this, you foolish and senseless people,
who have eyes but do not see,
who have ears but do not hear:

Jeremiah 5:21

Since 2009, the Obama administration has been simply handing over American sovereignty, and all of the energy resources that go along with them to China at an increasing rate.  This should be of concern to the American people, considering that we import an estimated 60% of our fossil fuels from overseas.

In another article written by Jerome R. Corsi, he exposes how deeply China’s largest, state-owned bank is dug into the United States.  Since 2009, the CNOOC (bank) has investments in American energy, real estate, and infrastructure, to the tune of tens of billions of dollars.

Jerome Corsi writes:

The Chronicle reported China paid $2.2 billion for a one-third stake in Chesapeake Energy assets, with CNOCC laying a claim to a share of energy resources in South Texas that could produce up to half a million barrels of oil per day.

The Wall Street Journal recently compileda state-by-state list of the $17 billion in oil and natural gas equity interests CNOOC and Sinopec have acquired in the U.S. and Canada since 2010.

  • Colorado: CNOOC gained a one-third stake in 800,000 acres in northeast Colorado and southwest Wyoming in a $1.27 billion pact with Chesapeake Energy Corporation.

  • Louisiana: Sinopec has a one-third interest in 265,000 acres in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale after a broader $2.5 billion deal with Devon Energy.

  • Michigan: Sinopec gained a one-third interest in 350,000 acres in a larger $2.5 billion deal with Devon Energy.

  • Ohio: Sinopec acquired a one-third interest in Devon Energy’s 235,000 Utica Shale acres in a larger $2.5 billion deal.

  • Oklahoma: Sinopec has a one-third interest in 215,000 acres in a broader $2.5 billion deal with Devon Energy.

  • Texas: CNOOC acquired a one-third interest in Chesapeake Energy’s 600,000 acres in the Eagle Ford Shale in a $2.16-billion deal.

  • Wyoming: CNOOC has a one-third stake in northeast Colorado and southeast Wyoming after a $1.27 billion pact with Chesapeake Energy. Sinopec gained a one-third interest in Devon Energy’s 320,000 acres as part of a larger $2.5 billion deal.

America, how is that NOT betraying our children and future generations?  How does this put us on a path towards sustainable energy sources?

How in the world is this NOT ceding to other nations the technology that will power new jobs and new industries?

One more question for you: How are we, by selling our country out to China going to maintain our economic vitality and our national treasure — our forests and waterways; our croplands and snowcapped peaks, when they do as they do over there and trash OUR enviornment?  They obviously aren’t all that concerned with their own environment.  What would make you think that they would care much more about someone else’s?

Exactly…  It won’t.

18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.

19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.”

2Peter 2:18-19

America, our country and our prosperity is being sold out from under us under the guise of creating a better society. A better society is not possible by going in the direction we are going, for we are placing our faith in men instead of our Creator.

It is farce and fabrication, and such things are not only impossible by going through these motions, but a course of action being sold to you with the understanding that only good things can come from it.

How is selling your home off piece by piece, room by room, to someone who cares nothing for your family, going to put your kids through college?  Can it be possible by exchanging your God-given wealth for a bigger government that can give you goodies, that somehow we can improve our own quality of life?
