Massachusetts (CBS Boston) – A Boston firefighter will be in court next month after police say he made threats against the department, including a reference to ex-Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner.
Kenneth Veiga became angry Tuesday when he was told he had to see a department physician before returning to work.
It is unknown why Veiga was off the job in the first place, but in order to return, he had to see a physician of the department’s choosing. Veiga, a 24-year veteran of the department, allegedly wanted to see his own doctor.
He then told his commander he was thinking about smashing a fire truck into a wall, police said.
“I am Army trained and have weapons and ammunitions (sic) in a storage locker. Dorner will be child’s play,” Veiga said, according to police.
