Pennsylvania (Ashlie Hardway-WTAE-TV) – A 17-year-old girl is facing charges in juvenile court after police say she set up a fake Craigslist advertisement that contained the cellphone number of another juvenile girl.

Southwest Regional Police Chief John Hartman said the 17-year-old started receiving calls and text messages of a sexual nature, including one photo of a nude male body part. She called police and said she was scared because they knew she lived in Washington County.

“He goes and says ‘I saw your ad on Craigslist,’ and that’s when I started getting freaked out,” the victim said of the sender of the first message she received.

For 45 minutes, she said more messages poured in from adult men soliciting her for sex, unaware she was a juvenile.

“Out of nowhere, all these messages started flooding in, and they started getting more graphic. I was receiving pictures, then I started receiving phone calls,” she said.
